Frozen margarita
For a refreshing and tangy cocktail, try our delicious frozen margarita. Made with fresh lime juice, triple sec, tequila and homemade green juice, this drink is perfect for a warm summer's day. Whether you're having a barbecue with friends or relaxing in the garden, this frozen margarita is sure to please a crowd. Cheers!

Ingredients
For the green juice:
- 3 oranges
- 2 limes
- Thumb-sized piece of ginger, peeled and roughly chopped
- 6 handfuls of spinach
- 2 green apples, roughly chopped
For the frozen margarita:
- 2 tbsp salt
- Ice cubes
- 50ml tequila
- 50ml triple sec
- 50ml green juice
- 25ml lime juice
- ½ lime, sliced, to serve
Cooking instructions
- Begin by making your green juice. Juice the oranges and limes and peel the ginger, then core and cut the apples into chunks.
- Add to a blender with the spinach and blend until smooth.
- Use a jay cloth or muslin to strain the liquid into a bowl.
- Transfer to a sealed jar or bottle and store in the fridge for up to 3 days. Enjoy!
For the frozen margarita:
- Place 2 martini glasses in the freezer for 5-10 minutes.
- Spread the salt out on a plate, then wet the rim of the glass and dip it in the salt to create a fine rim.
- Add three handfuls of ice into a blender with the tequila, triple sec, green juice and lime juice. Blitz until smooth.
- Serve in your frozen glasses with a slice of lime for garnish. Enjoy!
