Pea hummus
We love this homemade pea hummus recipe from Tilly Ramsay! It's quick, easy and an amazing alternative to classic chickpea hummus. A vibrant green recipe that's perfect for sharing.

Ingredients
- 400g frozen peas, defrosted
- 1 x 400g tin of chickpeas, drained
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 6 tbsp tahini
- Handful of parsley, roughly chopped
- 1 ice cube (optional)
- Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
To serve:
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Sesame seeds
- Chilli flakes or powder
Cooking instructions
- In a food processor, blitz together the peas, chickpeas, oil, lemon juice, tahini and most of the parsley, saving a bit to garnish.
- For an extra creamy texture, add a cube of ice whilst blending and allow to break down completely.
- Season to taste, then serve with a drizzle of oil and sprinkling of sesame seeds, chilli flakes and reserved parsley. We love to enjoy ours with homemade tortilla chips!
