Yes, you can learn how to make beautiful éclairs or puffy profiteroles in an evening. Join us for a speedy baking class and you’ll master glossy choux pastry and learn the tricks to baking perfect pastries, ready to make plenty more showstoppers at home.

What to expect

No time to bake? Think again. With our speedy Bake nights you can master a specific skill or bake in no time. In each short evening class, we’ll get you hands-on and baking as quickly as possible, watching and following our chef teachers as they guide you through core techniques and recipes.

Once mastered, choux pastry will open so many delicious doors. We’ll help you perfect a smooth, glossy dough that can be piped into éclairs, buns and profiteroles that can be stuffed with any number of sweet and savoury fillings. 

During class you’ll mix, shape, bake and fill your pastries, ending up with a delicious box to take home with you – it’s up to you if you can bare to share them.

Class details

Class starts: 6.30pm, arrive anytime from 6pm to check in at reception

Class finishes: 8pm, stay to dine with your class or take home the dishes you’ve made

Class size: Maximum 12 guests, some elements may require working in pairs with a classmate, don’t worry if you’ve come alone – it’s a great way to meet new people and have a laugh

Typical recipes and skills (we’ll cook the best available on the day, so we might surprise you!):

  • Making choux pastry
  • Piping and shaping, such as éclairs or profiteroles
  • Fillings and toppings, such as flavoured creams, chocolate glazes or fruit icings
