Get into the festive spirit with our evening cocktails and canapés cooking class. Not only will you learn a few new recipes for drinks and nibbles to make any Christmas party extra special, but you’ll have a fun evening sharing these with your classmates.

What to expect

Our Christmas cooking classes are designed to help you prepare for the festive season, providing you with plenty of tips and tricks from our chefs to take the stress out of those essential dishes, plus opportunities to get ahead with recipes and some new ideas to shake things up.

Our chefs will show you just how easy hosting can be, with some simple canapé recipes that you can whip up in no time for perfect party nibbles. Topped off with some delicious inspiration for syrups and infusions to make your own homemade cocktails (or mocktails), you’ll be all set throw open the doors and welcome guests for some festive fun. 

This is a relaxed, 90-minute evening class with plenty of time to enjoy a few drinks and sample your creations before heading home with snacks, syrups and all our recipes.

Class details

Class starts: 6.30pm, arrive anytime from 6pm to check in at reception

Class finishes: 8pm, stay to dine with your class or take home the dishes you’ve made

Class size: Maximum 12 guests, some elements may require working in pairs with a classmate, don’t worry if you’ve come alone – it’s a great way to meet new people and have a laugh

Typical recipes and skills (we’ll cook the best available on the day, so we might surprise you!):

  • No-fuss finger food - easy nibbles such as honey and herb nuts and spiced pastries
  • Make and bottle our own mulled or spiced syrup and how to turn it into deliciously different cocktails
