GORDON RAMSAY ACADEMY - WOKING, SURREY

Junior chefs (11-15): Curry

Cooking a delicious curry is a great way to impress mates, so we think any teen will love our curry cooking class. Not only will they learn the secrets to a good curry base and creamy, not-too-spicy sauce, but they’ll also be whipping up their own fluffy naan or flatbreads to go alongside.

What to expect

Gordon loves getting his children involved in the kitchen, meaning they’ve grown up really excited and inspired by food. Our Junior chef classes are a great opportunity for young cooks to get stuck in and have fun trying out new things.

A good curry makes a great family meal and is a great recipe to have when thinking about going off to college or university. Our teens cooking class will help them build solid cooking skills that they can practise at home – we might start with a creamy chicken korma and before you know it, they’ll be whipping up a pork vindaloo!

Hopefully they’ll bring you some home for a taste, along with some homemade breads they will have mixed, kneaded, shaped and baked as well.
