There are so many amazing cuisines and dishes to explore throughout the Middle East, and we’re starting with some real classics in our half-day cooking class. Join our chefs as they guide you through our perfect recipes for falafel, kofta and fattoush – all packed with spices, herbs and layers of flavour you’ll love.

What to expect

With our Taste of… classes we want to get you excited about some of the amazing food that’s being cooked all around the world. There’s so much to learn and discover when it comes to regional cuisines, from new flavours to age-old traditions, this is just the starting point for many more kitchen adventures to come. 

Taking inspiration from dishes and ingredients across the Middle East, this class will help you master homemade versions of some traditional street food favourites. With herby falafel, spicy koftas, creamy strained yoghurt and a crunchy fattoush salad, you’ll have a feast to enjoy and lots of inspiration to take away with you.

Class details

3-hour classes: Starting 9.30am, 11am or 1pm (please check individual booking)

Arrive up to 30 minutes before your class to check in at reception and there’s no rush at the end – you might be too busy eating your delicious dishes!

Class size: Maximum 10-12 guests, some elements may require working in pairs with a classmate, don’t worry if you’ve come alone – it’s a great way to meet new people and have a laugh

Typical recipes and skills (we’ll cook the best available on the day, so we might surprise you!):

  • How to make falafel
  • Making, shaping and baking kofta
  • Classic fattoush salad
  • Homemade labneh
  • Simple tahini sauce
