Woking Academy

Junior chefs (11-15): Summer snacks

We've taken inspiration from around the world for some delicious vegan finger food that your teens will love. They'll be filling super-fresh Vietnamese-style summer rolls and having some fun rolling fruit sushi - 'frushi' perhaps?! A great introduction to look at cooking fruit and veg in a different way.

What to expect

Gordon loves getting his children involved in the kitchen, meaning they’ve grown up really excited and inspired by food. Our Junior chef classes are a great opportunity for young cooks to get stuck in and have fun trying out new things.

Let's get your junior chefs excited about exploring some delicious plant-based snacks with a fun introduction to vegan cooking. Our chefs will help them find interesting and flavour-packed ways of preparing fruit and veg that will not only mean they leave the Academy with some tasty treats, but new cooking skills, too.

Crisp, crunchy, fresh and spicy summer rolls are a great places to start - these versions are packed with herbs and veg and are perfect for dipping, while our 'frushi' is a deliciously sweet way to enjoy learning to make and roll sushi.
