We are so excited to kick off our Academy Book Club with a special event hosted by Chef James 'Jocky' Petrie, who helped Gordon write and develop the fantastic recipes for his brand new cookbook, Ramsay in 10. Join us for a behind-the-scenes taster of this must-have book. 


What to expect

Welcome to the Gordon Ramsay Academy Book Club! This is our chance to explore and celebrate a cookbook we love every month, from brand new titles to hidden treasures and of course, the absolute classics that every cook should own. Join us for a delicious evening where we get ‘behind the book’, discussing the inspiration, stories and ingredients that make it special. The evening will include demonstrations of favourite recipes from our chefs or the authors themselves, a glass of something nice and the book to take home and add to your own collection.

What better way to kick off our recipe Book Club than with the release of Ramsay in 10, Gordon’s brand new book that is all about delicious dishes that you really can cook in a flash. Hosted by Executive Development Chef James 'Jocky' Petrie, this is your chance to see how easy it is to cook up an amazing meal in just 10 minutes, and learn more about the inspiration, and challenges behind the book’s creation.

Jocky is a bit of a legend amongst UK chefs – having worked for Heston Blumenthal before joining Gordon in 2015, he is known for his incredible creativity and imagination. Working closely with Gordon, he helped produce foolproof, yet flavour-packed recipes that really can be on the table in 10 minutes. This is a fantastic opportunity to watch one of the UK’s most respected chefs cook and question him on everything from microwave tips to Michelin dining!

Cookbook Club starts: 6.30pm, arrive anytime from 6pm to check in at reception

The evening finishes: 8pm, stay and chat to fellow guests or pop down to Street Burger for dinner
