Pudding made, cake maturing, and shopping done? Well it’s definitely time for some for festive fun in the kitchen then. Join us on our Christmas baking class and learn how to bake some seasonal showstoppers, whether that’s mastering the most indulgent chocolate Yule log or the squidgiest marshmallows, you’ll be confident to bake for friends and family over the holidays.

What to expect

Our Christmas cooking classes are designed to help you prepare for the festive season, providing you with plenty of tips and tricks from our chefs to take the stress out of those essential dishes, plus opportunities to get ahead with recipes and some new ideas to shake things up.

In this festive baking class you’ll cover some traditional recipes as well as some new ideas for seasonal flavours, all with plenty of help from our chefs to ensure you are truly at ease with all the skills and techniques. 

You’ll obviously get to taste all your creations on the day and we’ll provide lunch to keep you going! Finish with plenty of festive treats to take home, along with your recipes ready to impress everyone at home. 

Class details

Class starts: 10am, arrive anytime from 9.30am to check in at reception

Class finishes: 3-3.30pm, depending on lunch break and time to finish dishes

Class size: Maximum 12 guests, some elements may require working in pairs with a classmate, don’t worry if you’ve come alone – it’s a great way to meet new people and have a laugh

Typical recipes and skills (we’ll cook the best available on the day, so we might surprise you!):

  • Ultimate mincemeat and baking ideas beyond mince pies 
  • Showstopper chocolate Yule log
  • Homemade sweets to impress (raspberry marshmallows)
  • Savoury bake for festive entertaining

What’s included: 

  • Expert guidance from our chef teacher and assistants
  • All ingredients and equipment
  • Gordon Ramsay Academy apron to wear in class
  • Recipe wallet and class recipes
  • Refreshments throughout the class including a glass of wine, beer or soft drink
  • Takeaway containers to take your creations home in (although feel free to bring your own or a cool bag if travelling far)
