An adult and child ticket all-in-one! We all turn into big kids at Halloween, so why not indulge your inner child and come along with your little one for a bit of ghoulish fun in the kitchen. Cooking together is a great family activity and the perfect way to celebrate Halloween, plus you'll both learn a few great recipes you can keep cooking at home.
We think cooking together is the best way to learn, supporting your young cooks and bakers as you both try out new skills and recipes with our chefs. In our Cook together classes, each booking includes a place for an adult and child in a small class where you’ll get hands-on, creating delicious treats to take home and learning techniques you can practise together, too.
Make Halloween a bit different this year by turning it into a joint cooking project. Together you’ll have a laugh crafting scary Jack-o’-lantern stuffed peppers and spider cookies, easy recipes that are not only a great way to get creative in the kitchen, but also delicious dishes you can cook regularly at home (without the spooky decorations).
Class ticket: One ticket (£105) includes one adult and one child place on the class
Morning classes: Start 9.30am and finish 11.30am
Afternoon classes: Start 1pm and finish 3pm
After-school classes: Start 4.30pm and finish 6.30pm
Arrive up to 30 minutes before your class to check in at reception and there’s no rush at the end – you might be too busy eating your delicious dishes!
Class size: Maximum 10 guests (5 adult and child pairs) - children must be aged 6-15 years old
Typical recipes and skills (we’ll cook the best available on the day, so we might surprise you!):
Gordon and Tilly try to visit the Academy when they can and love following what you’re all cooking on social media. Our classes and events are hosted by brilliant chef teachers who will be passing on tips and tricks from Gordon and Tilly, as well as tons of knowledge from their own experience in restaurants and kitchens around the world.
So things aren't too crowded and everyone gets a chance to get involved, we try to keep family classes to five adult and child pairs (children can be aged between 6-15 years old). If you would like to come with two or more children, give us a call and we might be able to suggest an alternative option.
Our classes are aimed at helping everyone grow their confidence in the kitchen, whatever your level of experience. The most important thing is that you love food and are willing to give it a go!
if you have any concerns or would like advice on suitable classes, get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.
Don't panic! We'll always try to accommodate any specific requirements if we can and you can let us know about these in the booking form.
Otherwise do contact us to discuss a particular class or booking. You could also consider booking a private class through our Private Dining and Events team that's tailored to your needs.
We unfortunately cannot guarantee an allergen or nut-free environment in any of our kitchens.
We’ll provide you with aprons on the day and recommend comfy clothes and flat, closed-toe footwear (sorry, no big heels or flips flops!) as you’ll be moving around and on your feet quite a bit in the kitchen.
All equipment and ingredients are provided, as well as takeaway containers for any food you want to take home with you, although feel free to bring your own containers or a cool bag if you’re travelling.
We’re handily located in Woking town centre, have a look at our Contact page for all location and travel advice.

If booking a specific class or event on behalf of someone else, please ensure you provide their details and requirements in the attendee part of the booking form.
