Junior chefs (11-15): Mexican

Cheesy tortillas, creamy avocado and as much chilli as they dare… Mexican food is perfect for children to cook on their own or with friends. Our teen Mexican cooking class will focus on easy, versatile recipes that they can make their own, whether they’re cooking a solo lunch or a family dinner.

What to expect

Gordon loves getting his children involved in the kitchen, meaning they’ve grown up really excited and inspired by food. Our Junior chef classes are a great opportunity for young cooks to get stuck in and have fun trying out new things.

Mexican-style dishes are great for children to learn new cooking skills as they are so easy to customise – amp up the heat with chilli or cool it down with soured cream, top with a tomato salsa or a zingy chimichurri, fill with shredded chicken or saucy beans, the possibilities are endless!

Our chefs will help them cook up some easy classics, such as rich cornbread or cheesy quesadillas, that are perfect for getting creative with at home.
