Junior chefs (6-10): Burgers with a twist

All children love burgers, right? So why not get their creativity flowing with our fun alternative burger children’s cooking class. With simple recipes for fluffy buns and different meat, fish or veg patties, they’ll learn how to make a tasty family meal as well as mastering simple bread-making skills and more.

What to expect

Gordon loves getting his children involved in the kitchen, meaning they’ve grown up really excited and inspired by food. Our Junior chef classes are a great opportunity for young cooks to get stuck in and have fun trying out new things.

Getting children excited by healthier meals can be a challenge, which is why we’ve taken some great family-friendly recipes and dressed them up as burgers for a fun cooking class that little ones will love to get involved in.

For example, a tasty sweet potato fishcake makes a great burger patty, especially when they’ve also made their own bread dough, baked their own buns and whipped up a simple tomato sauce to dollop on top. Who needs ketchup…

A tasty end to the class with their loaded buns to eat or take home as they like, plus all the essential recipes for more cooking at home.
