You've got your mincemeat (homemade or shop-bought, we don't mind!), now join us from your own kitchens in this online baking class to make the perfect buttery pastry to encase your own mince pies. Christmas wouldn't be the same without a classic mince pie, so let our chefs guide you in making our own his year.

What to expect

Our Christmas cooking classes are not only the perfect opportunity to have some festive fun in the kitchen with friends and loved ones, but will also set you up with essential recipes and new ideas to make this Christmas the most delicious one yet.

Enjoy the smells of buttery pastry and festive spices filling your own kitchens as you bake with our chefs online and learn how to make the perfect mince pies to share with friends and family this festive season.

You'll join us through Zoom from your own kitchen and cook along with our chefs as they take you step-by-step through this classic recipe. If you've never made your own before, this is the perfect time to give it a go!

We’ll email you all the details in advance so you can shop and prepare in plenty of time, then in the class you can just concentrate on cooking along with the chef and your fellow classmates. 

You'll end with plenty of pastry skills that will set you up for many more pies and tarts in the future, plus a gorgeous batch of homemade mince pies and serving suggestions to make any Christmas gathering extra delicious. 

Class details

Class time: Thursday 1st December 3.30pm-5pm and Sunday 18th December 10am-11.30am (please note, all times are for UK/London)

Please join the Zoom call 10 minutes before the class starts, with all your ingredients ready

Class size: Maximum 16 households (one booking = one device login) – take over the kitchen by yourself or it can be fun to cook as a couple or family
