Caipirinha cocktail

This refreshing drink is one of Chef Sally's favourites and it couldn't be easier to make! A classic from Brazil, it pairs fresh lime with Cachaça - a Brazilian spirit distilled from the juice of sugarcanes. Give it a go to conjure up that incredible South American sunshine!

Ingredients

  • 1 lime
  • 2 tbsp caster sugar
  • 50ml Cachaça
  • Ice cubes (or crushed ice)

Cooking instructions

  • Cut the lime into quarters.
  • Put in the bottom of a glass tumbler and add the sugar. Muddle together to release the lime juice and create a syrup.
  • Pour over the Cachaça and top with ice to serve.
